Manager engineering for Providing strategic leadership, professional mentoring, and clear direction to salaried and management personnel engaged in the following areas:
Engine emission measurement and related data analysis.
Management and maintenance of emission measurement equipment.
Configuration and oversight of engine test instrumentation.
Testing and development of engines, engine components, powertrain systems, and new energy technologies.
Management of test laboratory facilities and equipment.
Ensure efficient, safe, and compliant execution of testing and development activities through effective team leadership and technical support, while driving continuous improvement and technological innovation.
What You Will Do:
Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team leaders.
Providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to various areas of the organization.
Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.
Maintaining product release plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget.
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
What Skills You Will Have:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Process Design and Development: Knowledge of process; ability to design, build, and develop a new process, technology.
Required Qualifications:
1,A bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical/Electronic 2,Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
3,Thorough knowledge of the test lab, instrument, equipment, facilities, methods, and tooling.
4,Experience leading teams and addressing performance or interpersonal challenges constructively.
